Our Services

Functional Diagnostic Nutrition is an approach to addressing underlying dysfunction that is happening in the body.

Healing opportunities are identified by taking thorough histories and correlating them with the results from well-chosen labs.

Then, an individualized plan for self-treatment is implemented. Coaching can also be provided and is recommended for the most effective results.

What Sets FDNs Apart from Others in the Functional Health Space:

Coaching:  We understand how important coaching is for the success of our clients.  If only given a plan without guidance, one may not get very far in their health journey. That's why clients have the option to be followed closely by doing weekly phone check-ins and providing the ability to ask questions anytime via email. That way we can stay on top of any issues whether it be motivation, needing plan adjustments, or more.

Access to Clinical Advisors: We have access to hundreds of clinical advisors, who are FDNs with various health credentials and areas of expertise. For more complex cases, I can consult with these advisors to ensure the best guidance is provided.

Labs we offer:

01

Four-Point Cortisol Testing

(Saliva) Provides valuable insights into the body's stress response and adrenal function and helps identify imbalances in cortisol production, such as adrenal insufficiency, adrenal dysfunction or chronic stress, which may contribute to various health issues like fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, and hormonal imbalances.

03

Organic Acid Test (OAT)

(Urine) Comprehensive metabolic insights into the overall health, including intestinal yeast and bacteria, vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and oxalates.

Recommended for conditions such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, cognitive decline, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's. Additionally, suitable for individuals experiencing complex chronic conditions or those whose health issues are not well-supported by traditional therapies.

05

MRT Food Sensitivity Test

Blood test that detects mediators released from white blood cells as an immune reaction, triggered by food sensitivities.

07

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)

Useful for identifying nutrient deficiencies, excesses, and toxic metal exposure. Measures minerals deposited in the hair as it grows, reflecting the body's internal environment over the past few months. Offers a longer-term view of mineral status and imbalances compared to blood or urine tests.

09

Other labs:

-Other Food Sensitivity Testing
-Wheat/Food Zoomer
-Neural Zoomer
-Metabolic Wellness Panel (Oxidative Stress, Liver Congestion and Protein Digestion)
-Mucosal Barrier Assessment (Zonulin, DAO and Histamine)
-Various toxin tests (Environmental, Mold, Lyme, Glyphosate, Heavy Metals)
and more

02

GI Map Stool Test

Comprehensive stool test that utilizes qPCR technology to detect parasites, bacteria, fungi, and more. Includes markers for digestion, gluten, inflammation and immune system function.

An unhealthy gut can cause uncomfortable symptoms that are felt beyond the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. In fact, the root cause of brain fog, fatigue, headaches, food sensitivities, and more can often be traced back to the gut.

04

DUTCH Complete Hormone Test

(Urine) Comprehensive insights into sex and adrenal hormones and their metabolites and includes the daily, free cortisol pattern, organic acids, melatonin, and oxidative stress.

Test may be beneficial for individuals experiencing symptoms of hormone imbalance, such as infertility issues, painful or heavy periods, irregular menstrual cycles, and perimenopause or menopause symptoms. Also beneficial for those dealing with hormone-related issues like fibroids, infertility, PCOS, low testosterone, or simply looking to optimize hormone health.

06

Genomics Testing

Gain a deeper understanding of how genetics influence health so proactive measures can be taken to prevent illness, delay disease onset, and optimize overall well-being.

08

Review of Standard Comprehensive Blood Panels

Review of lab panels to provide overview of whether or not various systems of the body are functioning optimally. (It is out of my scope of practice to diagnose any conditions.)
