What is Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN)?

FDN is a root-cause approach to health. By combining a detailed health history with carefully chosen functional labs, we can identify hidden imbalances — what we call “healing opportunities.”

From there, we create a personalized plan that supports your body in removing stressors, restoring balance, and rebuilding health. Ongoing coaching is highly recommended to help you put the plan into action and stay on track.

What Sets FDN Apart

  • Coaching + Support – Healing doesn’t come from a handout. Lasting change requires guidance, accountability, and encouragement along the way.

  • Clinical Advisor Network – As an FDN-P, I have access to a wide network of functional health experts with diverse specialties. For complex cases, I can consult with these advisors to ensure you get the best recommendations possible.

Labs we offer:

01

Salivary Stress Hormone Testing

Provides valuable insights into the body's stress response and adrenal function and helps identify imbalances in cortisol production, such as adrenal insufficiency, adrenal dysfunction or chronic stress, which may contribute to various health issues like fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, and hormonal imbalances.

03

Organic Acid Test (OAT)

(Urine) Comprehensive metabolic insights into the overall health, including intestinal yeast and bacteria, vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress, neurotransmitter levels, and oxalates.

Recommended for conditions such as autism spectrum disorders (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, cognitive decline, Parkinson's, and Alzheimer's. Additionally, suitable for individuals experiencing complex chronic conditions or those whose health issues are not well-supported by traditional therapies.

05

Food Sensitivity Testing
Discover how the foods you eat may be impacting your energy, digestion, skin, and overall health. Our testing identifies hidden food triggers and guides a personalized plan to reduce inflammation, support healing, and improve tolerance over time.

07

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)

Useful for identifying nutrient deficiencies, excesses, and toxic metal exposure. Measures minerals deposited in the hair as it grows, reflecting the body's internal environment over the past few months. Offers a longer-term view of mineral status and imbalances compared to blood or urine tests.

09

Various Toxin Tests

Detect Environmental toxins, Mold, Lyme, Glyphosate, Heavy Metals and more

02

GI Map Stool Test

Comprehensive stool test that utilizes qPCR technology to detect parasites, bacteria, fungi, and more. Includes markers for digestion, gluten, inflammation and immune system function.

An unhealthy gut can cause uncomfortable symptoms that are felt beyond the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. In fact, the root cause of brain fog, fatigue, headaches, food sensitivities, and more can often be traced back to the gut.

04

DUTCH Complete Hormone Test

(Urine) Comprehensive insights into sex and adrenal hormones and their metabolites and includes the daily, free cortisol pattern, organic acids, melatonin, and oxidative stress.

Test may be beneficial for males can be useful for men experiencing symptoms related to hormonal changes, such as low libido, trouble with erections, mood swings, fatigue, and weight changes.
